This is a lot of concrete for one backyard but my driveway is too sloped for a basketball hoop up front and my kids want it. Any other thoughts either on the patio extension, the buffer zone, or anything different for the basketball court area?

    Since the slope is an issue, I’d keep the court more compact and level it where needed, then soften the edges with planting beds and a stepping stone path like this so it doesn’t feel like a big slab of concrete; you can also extend the patio in a more organic shape instead of forcing a full rectangle, which blends better with the yard, here’s a layout I’d go with https://app.neighborbrite.com/s/skBU0EaL70y
