I definitely would change the pavers and use some that would create less of a focal effect. I think some mid height greenery would be beautiful and break up the visual length of the area. Definitely some vegetation to break up the line.

I’d personally skip the fake lawn right next to the pool it gets gross over time (chlorine splash + heat + leaves) and can feel slippery. Grey pavers can look really clean, but they can also get crazy hot in summer.
