I've cleared a bit more next to the red tiny house where the dirt is. There's a natural slope, mostly sunny during the day with some decent hours of shade. From the left to the right of the whole picture is some underground plumbing/septic lines from that tiny house to septic tank (out of view to the right) so can't really dig down, and it's a mixture of red clay, loose soil and minimal rocks from top layer down. There were massive pines that burned down, and their stumps were either chipped, dug up or rotted and the spots where they were, were not back filled very well, so it's very uneven. Was thinking of tiered sections somehow going towards bottom of pic where there's a street. Need to consider rain/snow run off due to slope. What should I do for drainage and/or directing water flow? What plants would you recommend adding around here?
