I'm attaching a photograph of a small garden plot it my retirement home in Davidson, N.C. Zone 7b. It has brick walls on the western and northern sides with poor air circulation. Previous plants have suffered from power mildew. The bed has morning sun but is shaded in the afternoon. I'd like a mixture of flowering and foliage plants that are year round and easy to maintain. Can you suggest plantings and provide a picture of what the plot might look like with them planted?
